The Indian gooseberry, popularly called Amla, has translucent, light green skin. The berries taste sour and slightly bitter. They are spherical, tiny, crunchy, and juicy.
Storage & Use:
The amla berry can be blended into drinks and smoothies or consumed as a snack. It is better to keep the berries raw on their stems in the refrigerator. Additionally, washing in the refrigerator should be avoided for the time being since the moisture may encourage the formation of mould.

The amla fruit is rich in vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system, and it also includes antioxidants. Consumption is also supposed to promote hair development and stop hair loss.
