These narrow long beans, called cluster beans or guwar, are characterized by their tender pods and are very nutritious. They originally come from the warm, dry regions of India and have a pleasantly mild taste.
Storage & Use:
The unwashed fresh beans should be stored in a cool place in a perforated plastic bag and can thus be kept for up to a week will. The tender cluster beans can be steamed, boiled, fried, and added to curries.
